- Jane Austen's House is in the pretty village
of Chawton in Hampshire not far from her birthplace of Steventon.
The museum houses an attractive collection of items connected
with Jane and her family including the table that she used to
write her novels.The house is where she wrote and revised her
famous novels including Pride & Prejudice.
The bookcase contains some first editions of Jane's novels.
